COUNTRYSTYLE GROUP

Countrystyle Group, is one of the South East’s largest privately owned waste management and recycling companies, and is headquartered here in Kent.

The company began as a family-run agricultural business in Pluckley, near Ashford, and started offering composting services in 1996 when it became clear that there was a substantial demand from Kent’s farming community.

Based in Lenham, near Maidstone, Countrystyle Group provides expert advice on all aspects of waste management and recycling from complete waste streams from large multinational companies down to one-off domestic skip hire.

An on-going programme of investment has led to its continued expansion across Kent with a new facility for its dry recycling service (paper, cardboard and plastics) in Lenham.

The company has also completed the development of new offices and a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) at its site at Ridham Dock, near Sittingbourne, which can process 35-40,000 tonnes of construction, commercial and organic waste each year.

The Ridham Dock development also includes a state-of-the-art in-vessel composting system, will see organic material recycled into a range of peat free, sustainable compost products suitable for use in agriculture and landscaping.

Countrystyle also offers complementary waste audits to assist businesses in raising their green credentials, and is able to ensure every business complies with current EU and Government waste legislation.
