German solar energy specialist expands to Kent
Article Image

German solar energy specialist SunConcept has expanded into the UK and taken offices at Kings Hill, near Maidstone, thanks to assistance from Locate in Kent. The UK has become an attractive offer for renewable energy companies following the Government’s introduction of Feed-in Tariffs on 1st April 2010. These incentives mean energy suppliers make payments to householders and communities generating their own electricity from renewable or low carbon sources.

SunConcept manufactures photovoltaic solar modules and offers a complete turnkey service in planning, installing and investing in medium and large scale solar PV energy systems.

The company is interested in leasing roof space or land for the free installation of solar PV systems. Roof or land owners benefit from the free use of electricity generated onsite, in addition to annual rent payments over 25 years or a single interest-discounted payment upon grid connection.  For more information about SunConcept, visit www.sunconcept.net.
