What are transport links like in Kent?
Kent is positioned between London and continental Europe. From the centre of Kent, London is about one hour away by car or train, Heathrow Airport 73 minutes, Gatwick 47 minutes, Stansted 71 minutes and City Airport 63 minutes. In the other direction Eurotunnel shuttles take 35 minutes from Folkestone to Calais, and Eurostar trains take around one hour from Ashford to Paris or Brussels.
