Universities & Colleges

Kent is home to four universities: The University of Kent, Canterbury Christ Church University, University of Greenwich and University College for the Creative Arts plus a large number of colleges of further and higher education. All the universities are engaged in high level research in a variety of disciplines. These universities have a student population of 32,000 and contribute more than 11,000 graduates to the workforce each year. The universities and colleges work with local companies to provide students with real life experience and companies with early links to the student population. In some instances they will also provide tailor made courses for individual companies. Over 380,000 students are also accessible from London and neighbouring counties.
