Newly crowned Entrepreneur of the Year and CEO of digital agency Sleeping Giant Media, Luke Quilter, will share the secrets of search marketing success at Kent B2B Medway this November.

Businesses looking to grow their digital presence, make an impact online and drive more relevant traffic to their website will learn a lot from Quilter, whose search and social media agency specialises in search engine optimisation, pay per click advertising and social media marketing. Having recently won the 2017 CIM “Agency of the Year” Award, Sleeping Giant Media are an authority on boosting online presence for businesses.

After taking the title of Entrepreneur of the Year at Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBA) in June, Quilter signed up to make his headline speaker debut at Kent B2B Medway. Quilter’s previous achievements include the KEiBA 2011 Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and the WireHive 2016 Digital Leader of the Year. There’s no doubt his talk will have mass appeal - all businesses want to come up on the first page of Google, regardless of the industry they work in.

Kent B2B Medway, which takes place at the iconic Chatham Dockyards on 7th November, is part of the Kent B2B series, the county's longest-running business exhibition and networking event. Now in its 31st year, this is the first time the expo will come to the Medway towns.

As well as digital expertise, delegates will take stock of Quilter’s entrepreneurial spirit and fun approach to staff engagement - he made headlines in 2014 after converting one of the rooms in Sleeping Giant HQ into a ball pit for break out creative sessions and is often recognised for his unique approach to leadership.

Quilter will also give advice for start-ups and share how he went from working from his dining room with no funding, to grow and co-own an award-winning agency that employs 40-strong team across 3 businesses.

Quilter said: “It’s fantastic to be headlining at such an acclaimed event. It’s great to have the opportunity to speak to so many people about their businesses and online strategy. I hope to get more people thinking about how they can make digital work for them. I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve, so it should be a fun and thought-provoking session.”

Julie O’Connor, Kent B2B Event Manager said: “We’re delighted to announce Luke Quilter as our headline speaker - especially so soon after he was crowned Entrepreneur of the Year at KEiBA. We know he’ll capture the imagination of our audience and draw in big crowds - everyone wants to know more about digital and Luke will wow delegates with his know-how and drive to succeed.

She added: “We’re excited to bring Kent B2B to Medway and to stage the first one at the spectacular dockyards sets it up to be a memorable event.”

As well as attending talks and workshops, delegates will explore an extensive exhibition zone showcasing the best businesses in Kent. The event is open 8.30am to 4pm and is free for delegates to attend. Medway B2B is staged in conjunction with The Kent Invicta Chamber.

Luke Quilter is the first speaker to be announced for November 2017 line-up - full programme coming soon – follow @Kent_b2b on Twitter for live updates.
