Crowe Clark Whitehill
National audit, tax and advisory firm Crowe Clark Whitehill has appointed Mark Anderson as its new Office Managing Partner in Kent.
A corporate audit and business advisory specialist, Mark joined Crowe in 1988 when its Maidstone office was opened by Mike Subert and Keith Newman and became a partner in 2000. He has made a significant contribution to Crowe’s growth in the region when it set up its Tunbridge Wells office in 1999 and supported a wide variety of start-ups, entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses and small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Beyond Kent, Mark has also worked with listed companies and global groups.
Mark’s aim is to continue to develop and enhance Crowe’s offering in the region, helping clients to navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by the political and economic climate.
He will also oversee the firm’s relocation to a new office in Maidstone in the coming months, to accommodate further expansion of the Kent team.
Mark succeeds Keith Newman as Office Managing Partner, who is stepping down after 16 years in the role. During Keith’s tenure, Crowe’s presence in the region grew substantially, from three partners in 2001 to an eight partner office today, servicing a wide variety of clients.
Mark Anderson, Kent Office Managing Partner of Crow Clark Whitehill said:
“It is an exciting time for businesses in Kent. While there are undoubtedly challenges to face, the launch of large-scale infrastructure projects, along with wider investment into the region, both present an array of opportunities for the regional economy and for those businesses with a growth agenda. Through the specialist skills developed throughout the Kent team, we will continue to support our clients’ ambitions to exceed their business objectives.”
Nigel Bostock, Chief Executive of Crowe Clark Whitehill, comments:
“I offer both my congratulations to Mark and my sincere thanks to Keith, both of whom have been integral to our continued success in Kent. Through their unique insight into the needs of businesses in the local economy and their commitment to client care, we have been able to enhance our offering year on year and develop our client base. I look forward to working closely with Mark in his new role and building upon Keith’s work.”
