Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce annual dinner, 7 July

Locate in Kent partner, law firm  Furley Page, is again sponsoring the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce annual dinner on 7 July, where Guy Browning, described as the David Attenborough of the business jungle, is the guest speaker.

Guy is probably best known for his column in the weekend Guardian where he explores the bizarre life forms and strange behaviour found in every office. Originally an advertising copywriter, Guy’s expertise lies in the use of creativity in business and showing how people in every part of your organisation can use intelligence, initiative and imagination to tackle any issue. A witty after dinner speaker, Guy doles out invaluable tips on how to scale the greasy pole and how to get yourself noticed by volunteering. He is a presenter of Small Talk on Radio 4.

Furley Page Partner Aaron Spencer said: “When we sponsored the event last year the guest speaker was England World Cup winner Gordon Banks and we were all thrilled to meet him. This year I’m really looking forward to hearing from Guy Browning who I’m sure is going to be a huge hit with the audience.”

The Chamber of Commerce dinner takes place from 5.30-9.30pm on 7 July at the Ashford International Hotel. Tickets cost £42 plus VAT and include reception drink and three course dinner. Tables of 10 cost £400 plus VAT. To book email or call 01732 758530.

The dinner is part of the Kent B2B 2015, the county’s longest running business exhibition, which takes place at the hotel from 9am to 4pm on 7 July. Furley Page will once again be exhibiting at the popular event. Find us on Stand 52 in the Kent Suite.
