Young Tunbridge Wells entrepreneur Ben Jeffries can now access the team of small business advisors at Locate in Kent partners Crowe Clark Whitehill, the audit, tax and advisory firm, after his success in the Young Start-up Talent.
After winning in a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style final, Ben will receive £50,000 worth of products and services from various local companies to help him over the next 12 months, including support from Crowe’s Business Solutions team at its offices in Kent.
Ben Jeffries’ business, Influencer, connects global brands with famous individuals from social media – whether it be from Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube or Snapchat – to help promote their business or products through targeted social media marketing campaigns.
Simon Warne, Tax Partner at Crowe and one of the judges for Young Start-up Talent described the entrepreneurs as “confident, connected with the world and comfortable with change”.
Ben will now work with the Business Solutions team, led by Darren Rigden, Partner at Crowe, who said: “The combination of a strong business idea and expert advice can dramatically improve the chances of commercial success and manageable growth for many businesses. We’re confident that Ben’s Influencer business will be one to follow in the future as the importance of social media in marketing brands goes from strength to strength.”
Young Start-up Talent is a community-based project helping 16-25 year olds with an entrepreneurial flair for business.
