An appointment by leading Kent law firm, Furley Page, brings a newly qualified solicitor to its highly regarded Private Client team, recognised as one of the best in the business.
Christine Ward studied law at the University of Kent, Canterbury, and graduated in 2011 with Upper Second Class Honours. She completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in April 2017, obtaining a Commendation.
She was appointed in May 2017 to the firm, which is recognised for its expertise by independent legal guides, The Legal 500 and Chambers UK.
Christine developed her skills in the Wills and Estates team at a firm of solicitors in North West Kent. At Furley Page, she will work alongside Partner and Chartered Tax Adviser, Sarah Bogard, and Associate, Joshua Williams, to specialise in Will drafting and inheritance tax planning; estate administration and Grant of Probate; Deeds of Variation and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
The Private Client team is Furley Page’s largest with a wealth of specialists based at the firm’s Canterbury, Whitstable and Chatham offices.
Sarah Bogard said Christine’s appointment reflects Furley Page’s commitment to encouraging new talent.
“Christine is a promising young solicitor who is proving to be a great asset to the firm. The Private Client team at Furley Page is recognised as trusted family advisers and Christine’s local knowledge means she is well-placed to understand the requirements of our clients.”
Christine said: “Furley Page is renowned for developing close relationships with clients that last for generations. My local connections, having been brought up in Whitstable, mean I am particularly looking forward to serving clients in the area and surrounding coastal towns.”
