Charities and finance professionals keen to learn more about the latest updates in the charity and not-for-profit sector are invited to a free seminar in Kent on 1 March.
The event is being organised in Canterbury by Burgess Hodgson Chartered Accountants and Furley Page Solicitors.
Mark Laughton, a Partner at Burgess Hodgson, will be provide an accounting update, while Aaron Spencer, a Partner at Furley Page, will speak on the governance code for charities. Funding will be placed under the microscope by Andrew Jesson from Charity Bank, while the guest speaker will be Peter Lansley, from Canterbury and District Samaritans.
The free seminar will be held at Canterbury Cathedral Lodge on Thursday 1 March. Registration is at 7.30am, including rolls and refreshments. The event will close at 10am.
