Hythe Indian street food restaurant opens

The Chameleon Bar and Grill  restaurant in Hythe which is introducing a new concept in dining has been officially opened by the Rt Hon Damian Collins MP.

Mr K Rajamenon, who has also introduced the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill in Folkestone has joined with Head Chef Satish Nalli to launch the Chameleon Bar & Grill which will specialize in Indian Street food

Mr K Rajamenon stated in his welcome speech that ‘Chameleon Bar & Grill is a brand new concept, producing an Indian street food style dining , but as the name would suggest,  it is all about change and evolution   Everyone & everything needs to change, and in the Chameleon  Bar & Grill we don’t want to stand still, we want this brand to evolve into something bigger & something our customers will recognise for it’s innovation  and quality

The opening was attended by a number of local residents  official guests including Cllr Philip Martin the Vic Chairman of the Folkestone & Hythe District Council,  , Cllr David Wimble Cabinet Member for the District Economy and Phillip Carter, Chairman of the Leas Cliff Residents association

In asking Mr K Rajamenon why he chose Hythe for his new concept he indicated that he believed that the Folkestone, Hythe and the surrounding areas are a sleeping giant and with the right effort, dedication and focus this area is going to be something very special in Kent

The Chameleon Bar & Grill restaurant is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner
