Law firm Cripps, incorporating Pemberton Greenish, has announced the appointment of a new partner in real estate, Alyson Thornton-Clark.
Alyson, who was formerly a partner at a London law firm, has extensive experience in the purchase, development and disposal of high value residential and commercial property, particularly in prime central London. She works with investors, developers and real estate lenders, including wealthy individuals, family offices, banks and on and off-shore property funds.
Her appointment follows that of real estate investment expert Dominic Filleul at the start of January, who came to Cripps from City-based Lattey & Dawe.
Myles McIntosh, partner and head of the private client team, said: “We are thrilled to have Alyson joining the team. Alyson’s reputation and experience will further enhance our expertise in this area, and her client-centric, personal approach to delivering legal solutions fits perfectly with the culture of the firm.”
Alyson added: “I am delighted to be joining the firm. Cripps has an excellent reputation for its commercial and residential property service, which has been strengthened even further by its recent merger with Pemberton Greenish.”
Alyson was previously at Westminster-based Child & Child, where she had been a partner for the last five years.
Cripps and Pemberton Greenish announced the completion of their merger on 1 December 2018. The combined firm features a real estate team of more than 150 people offering the full range of commercial and residential property services.
Cripps has offices in Tunbridge Wells, London and Kings Hill.
