FUNDING

Taking the decision to invest in another country, or move or expand an existing business, requires funding. Kent has a compelling offer for financial assistance, an important influencing factor in decision-making.

Available Schemes

Thanks to the Government’s Regional Growth Fund, with backing from Kent County Council and partners, Kent has a number of funding initiatives aimed at creating jobs by supporting ambitious businesses. And the good news is that these job-creating loans are interest-free.

There’s also the possibility of further business funding in those areas of Kent identified as Assisted Areas. In particular, SMEs may receive public support towards an increased proportion of their project costs.

There is also a raft of support from Government nationally that is helping to attract overseas and UK businesses to Kent.

Kent has an Enterprise Zone at Sandwich, for more details click here.

See below for further information on the various funds available to support growing businesses. To find out if your company may be eligible for any of these schemes, contact our experts.
