Case Study

bptw partnership

bptw partnership is an architectural firm, specialising in Urban Regeneration and delivering a range of high quality housing and extra care facilities.

Based close to the county border in Greenwich, bptw partnership has provided architectural, planning consultancy and visualisation services on many housing schemes in Kent and the Medway towns over the past 20 years, working with developers such as Countryside and mhs homes.

Kent has a rich and varied commercial and industrial history. This provides an intriguing and varied context within which new development has to respond. In addition, changes in industrial focus in the region have left significant regeneration potential and this is a challenge which we relish. “

“One of the reasons we enjoy working in Kent is the commitment and enthusiasm shown by local authorities for attracting inward investment and regeneration. Working within Medway has been an extremely positive experience as both Council officers and members have been open to consider (and assist with the delivery of) innovative development solutions that complement and enhance the existing urban fabric.”

London is renowned for its high property prices and office rates, making it difficult for businesses to locate to the capital and grow once there. bptw feel Kent will benefit from this because of the competitive land and property prices as well as highly trained workforce the county can offer.

Connectivity has also played a huge part in their decision to invest in the county. The High Speed link between Kent and London has widened the potential for commuting both ways as well as making access to Kent from all parts of the UK and Europe much easier.

Although not currently based in Kent, the firm remain advocates of the county with many of the team Kent residents. They believe Kent is an excellent place to live and to work and its diverse history provides great potential for regeneration. With an ongoing demand for new homes and jobs throughout the county, bptw will continue to invest and take advantage of the huge opportunities available.
